Funnel design permits addition of solvents to flash chromatography columns without disturbing the packing layer.

The lower end of the funnel is closed and the stem has a series of small holes through which the solvent drains. Small joint size funnels fit columns with a [ST]24/40 or [ST]35/20 joint. Large joint size funnels fit columns with a large joint such as [ST]45/50 or 50/30 spherical joint. Top funnel diameter: 90mm.
