Polycarbonate construction features a UV light blocker and is resistant to staining, crazing, and chemical attack. Amber color models reduce visible light penetration by over 50% and are perfect for storing light sensitive materials like reagents, analytical standards and investigational compounds. A large door with easy-to-view digital hygrometer opens right to left, maximizes access to interior space and includes patented seal design, tab latches and security loops for a padlock or tamper-evident seals. Perforated shelves facilitate circulation of dry air.

The compact 34.1W x 41.4 cmD (13.4 × 16.3”) footprint enables space saving stacking up to 3 units high. Choose from an extensive selection of sizes, styles and colors in 100, 120 or 230V (CE marked) models for use worldwide. 230V units include power cord/transformer that includes Q-NA, Q-SAA, Q-UK and Q-EU input connectors to accommodate North American, Australian, UK and European configurations. Replacement shelves are available and 4.0 units can be converted from vertical to horizontal configuration or vice versa by turning the unit and ordering the appropriate number of shelves. Compared to other auto-desiccators that regenerate once every 4 to 6 hours, the Secador® Auto-Desiccators attains a low %rH level on start-up and consistently maintains low %rH, especially with frequent entry to the desiccator interior. Color-indicating silica gel inside the desiccant regeneration module allows quick visual confirmation of desiccant status.
