7X-O-Matic is a powerful wetting and penetrating agent, which contains a non-ionic surfactant and a hydrotrope to complex phosphates. 7X-O-Matic was designed to clean under pressure, heat and agitation. It behaves and remains mostly suds-free when agitated. Several convenient package sizes are available, and it is stable for long-term storage.
The 7X-O-Matic® solution features alkaline salts added as builders, and is particularly suited for automatic washing machines or procedures where the solution is agitated during cleaning. It is effective at temperatures ranging from ambient to 85 °C (185 °F).
The 7X™ laboratory detergent is ideal for thorough cleaning of cultureware and general lab equipment including test tubes, petri dishes, culture flasks and cylinders, burets, pipets, slide covers, and hypodermic syringes. Solution contains powerful sequestering agents. Completely soluble in water at any concentration and drains completely from glassware in only a few seconds. A 5% solution in distilled water has a pH range of 6 to 9. This neutral pH will not induce or cause etching of delicate glassware.
