Use with optional quick filling/venting closures to create a vacuum trap. Quick filling/venting closures feature valved quick disconnect fittings, so that the carboy remains sealed when the tubulation fitting is removed.

Note: Before autoclaving, set cap on top of carboy without engaging threads.

Rugged caps with TPE gaskets guarantee leakproof service. Carboys can withstand repeated application of full vacuum for eight hour periods at 20 °C (68 °F).
