Use these heaters as a dry, constant temperature source for various lab and research applications. All models have independent indicator lights to show main power, heater action, and over-temperature cut out. The ‘number of blocks accepted’ on the ordering table indicate the number of single-width blocks accepted by each block heater. A heater that accepts two single-width blocks will accept one double-width block. Use three- and four-block models for high-throughput applications such as chemical oxygen demand (COD).

Dri-Block® heaters are a source of precision temperature control for general routing applications and sensitive analytical procedures particularly suited to microbiology and clinical laboratories. They are designed for precise heating of test-tubes, microcentrifuge tubes, cuvettes, and microtiter plates. Techne® Dri-Block® heaters cover a temperature range from ambient +5 to 100°C or 200°C (depending on model). These units use machined aluminium alloy Dri-Block® inserts as the heat transfer medium. Independent indicator lights indicate mains power, heater action, and over-temperature cut-out. An On/Off switch is mounted on the rear panel, together with the mains connector, a double fuse holder, and adjustable over-temperature cut-out (depending on model).
