Cubes have 2 cm(0.78") sides with a hook for density investigation and specific gravity activities. Element stamp indicates material.

Since these cubes are equipped with hooks, they can be easily lifted from water. Additionally, the hooks allow the cube to be easily massed using a spring scale. Cubes have a mass between 50 g and 400 g, so a 5.0 to 1.0 Newton spring scale will work perfectly.
The Eisco labs density investigation series is designed to help students identify and figure out mass, understand the relationship between mass/volume/density, understand specific heat and specific gravity, and other introductory physics and chemistry concepts.
Caution: Due to the nature of raw metals, some oxidation or corrosion due to humidity and storage may occur. Simply scuff any oxidation off to make cube look brand new again.
