The GC-10SS stainless steel gas cell is Firebird Optics solution for FTIR analysis of gas samples. This is most helpful in qualitative analysis applications where one or more gases are present in concentrations of more than 5%.
- 316 stainless steel cell body material
- Viton O-rings are used at each end to seal windows with anodized aluminum caps
- Two Nupro plug valves are connected via S.S> tubes to the body of the gas cell

This cell can be used in high pressure and temperature applications where glass/quartz spectroscopy samples are impractical.
This assembly can be fitted with Firebird Optics high grade optical windows and snapped into any commercial FTIR spectrophotometer.
Two 6.35 mm (¼") SS tubes with rifle ends are supplied for connecting with laboratory tubing. Slide plate holder with captive screw to lock cell on holder.
Gas cell is supplied with slide plate holder in presentation case. Cell is rated for 21 ℃ (70 ℉) and 3000 psi (206 bar).
