Drain tubing and fittings for aqueous and organic solvents for all Agilent ICP-MS instruments.

• Regular inspection of the drain tubing is recommended
• The drain tubing should be replaced if the tubing has perished, or shows excessive wear or discoloration
• The regular clear Tygon tubing is suitable for use with aqueous solutuions, including acid digests
• For compatibility with organic solvents, solvent resistant tubing (ETFE coated Urethane) should be fitted

Drain tubing for aqueous solutions and organic solvents, plus connectors and other fittings are available for all the Agilent ICP-MS instrument models. Drain tubing is used to join the spray chamber waste port to the peristaltic pump tubing to transfer waste solution to the drain tank. The standard tubing is tygon, which is recommended for aqueous samples. For organic solvents, this should be replaced with ETFE coated Urethane tubing that is solvent resistant.
