The Monarch® gDNA Blood Lysis Buffer a component of the Monarch® Genomic DNA Purification Kit (NEB #T3010), which can be used to purify up to 30 µg genomic DNA from a variety of sample types.

The kit contains three unique lysis buffers, optimized to enable maximal yield and purity when preparing genomic DNA from a variety of sample types. The Blood Lysis Buffer contains a strong protective component against the high nuclease activity in blood samples and supports rapid degradation of hemoglobin and other protein components.

The Monarch® gDNA Blood Lysis Buffer is one of three lysis buffers available for purchase separately for additional convenience and to minimize waste.
