The Monarch® gDNA Cell Lysis Buffer is a component of the Monarch® Genomic DNA Purification Kit (NEB #T3010), which can be used to purify up to 30 µg genomic DNA from a variety of sample types.

The Monarch® gDNA Cell Lysis Buffer is one of three lysis buffers available for purchase separately for additional convenience and to minimize waste.

Optimized for speed and efficiency, this buffer requires only a 5 minute lysis incubation time with Monarch® Proteinase K and Monarch® RNase A to obtain maximal yields of highly pure and intact gDNA with a typical peak size >60 kb.
