- Accepts both borosilicate glass flasks or aluminum evaporating pans--simply switch out adapter plate
- Evaporate n-hexane quickly and effectively for oil and grease testing

Versatile system evaporates n-hexane quickly and effectively with adjustable temperature control, airflow control, and vessel configuration. Use digital controller to accurately set and maintain temperature throughout the evaporation process. System accepts either 100-ml flasks or aluminum pans with 70 or 105 mm diameter.
Connect to dry air or nitrogen source, and set temperature to 65°C. A sample of 40 mL of solvent will take approximately 20 minutes to evaporate.
Delivery information: Includes block heater, 6-position flask manifold, aluminum pan adapter plate, 6 curved needles, 6 needle adapters, flow control valve, hose barb adapter, and a box of 105 mm aluminum pans.
Caution: Operation should take place under an operating fume hood.
