Cryolys® is the only patented cooling unit that prevents the increase of temperature during lysing. It enhances the efficiency of molecular extraction, resulting in premium quality analysis, maintaining temperature around 4 °C before and during homogenization. It enables the extraction of stable RNA and native-state proteins.

Cryolys® is compatible with Precellys® 24 homogenizers. Cold air (－50 °C) is sprayed around each tube so the temperature during homogenization remains at around 4 °C. A probe enables real-time monitoring of the temperature inside the lid, thus protecting sensitive molecules from degradation during sample preparation.

Consumption: 1 L of liquid nitrogen for 5 min, 1 kg of dry ice for 1.5 hr.
