Quartz outer tube for D-Torch™ used with Optima™ 4300, 5300 and 7300 V ICP-OES series instruments.

The D-Torch is a revolutionary new demountable torch design with interchangeable outer tubes. Quartz outer tubes are ideal for most aqueous samples, while Ceramic Outer Tubes (101677-618) may last longer for samples with high dissolving solids or for organic applications, such as wear metals in engine oils. This 3-slot demountable quartz outer tube allows for easy replacement and maintenance of the D-Torch. The replaceable outer tube is also more economical to replace than having to change the complex quartz assembly of the standard Optima™ torch.
