About this item
General purpose medium for the cultivation of a wide variety of microorganisms.
Anaerobic Blood Agar (CDC Formulation) is used for the primary isolation and cultivation of anaerobic micro organism.
Baird Parker Agar is used for the selective isolation and enumeration of coagulase-positive staphylococci and may also be used for identification of staphylococci on the basis of lecithinase activity.
Cetrimide Agar is a selective and differential medium used in the presumptive identification and isolation of pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Legionella BCYE medium without L-cysteine is used to confirm or exclude the presence of Legionella in water by subculture of typical colonies obtained previously using Legionella GVPC medium. This medium should be inoculated at the same time as the BCYE medium with L-cysteine. If the strain does not grow on BCYE medium without L-cysteine, it can be confirmed as belonging to the genus Legionella.
Legionella GVPC agar has been specially developed for the enumeration of legionella in water.
M Endo Les Agar is a medium used for the enumeration of coliforms in water by the membrane filtration technique as recommended by the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste water.
Potato Dextrose Agar is recommended for the identification, cultivation and enumeration of yeasts and molds and to induce sporulation in all fungi. It has been used for cultivation and isolation of molds and yeasts in dairy and various food products as recommended by the American Public Health Association.
Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is used for the detection and enumeration of viable fungal contaminants present on surfaces and equipment of sanitary importance. Sabouraud Dextrose Chloramphenicol Agar (SDC) is used for the cultivation of dermatophytes and both pathogenic and non-pathogenic yeasts and molds.
Tryptic soy agar TSA is used for the cultivation and enumeration of a wide variety of fastidous and non-fastidous micro-organisms. Tryptic soy agar with 5% sheep blood (Blood Agar) is a general purpose medium used for cultivation enumeration and hemolysis determination of fastidious and non-fastidious micro-organism.
Tryptic soy agar with 5% Sheep Blood and 0.1% Esculin is a non-selective, differential medium for the cultivation, enumeration and differentiation of organisms based on hemolysis and esculin hydrolysis reactions.XLD Agar is a selective differential medium for the isolation of gramnegative enteric bacteria.
Solid medium used for the detection and enumeration of aerobic mesophilic bacteria, yeasts and molds according to ISO 21149 standard for cosmetic products. Standard Methods Agar is a media used for enumeration of viable micro-organisms in water, waste water, foods and dairy products.
