BAKERBOND spe™ columns are disposable PP or glass columns prepacked with high capacity sorbents contained between two 20 µm PE frits. BAKERBOND spe™ C18 PolarPlus® columns are used when BAKERBOND spe™ C18 yields low recoveries of very polar (i.e., water soluble) compounds.

• Extraction of compounds from sample solution volumes ranging from a few hundred µl up to 1 L
• Processing by vacuum or positive pressure
• Yield up to 10 times higher recovery of polar compounds than BAKERBOND spe™ C18

General applications: General drugs (polar, basic and acidic) in serum, urine and water samples, therapeutic drug monitoring e.g. antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs, acidic, polar pesticides in water samples.

These SPE columns can be used in reversed phase mode.
