Normal Saline

This solution is commonly referred to as physiological saline or isotonic saline.

• 0.15 M Sodium Chloride
• Aseptically filtered through a Millipore 0.22 micron filter into clean, pre-sterilized containers
• Tested on trypticase soy agar for 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours and was found to be negative for bacteria

Application Note: Saline solutions are available in various formulations for different purposes. Salines are also used in cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry experiments where ever normal salines are needed.
