About this item
Recombinant Mouse IL-3 control protein
- Control Protein
- PCA Assays
- ImmunoBlot
Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a cytokine produced by activated T cells and mast cells. IL-3 is able to induce the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells to precursor cells of myeloid lineage (erythrocytes, megakaryocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells and monocytes). IL-3 also has functions in the nervous system and appears to be important in several chronic inflammatory diseases. Recombinant mouse IL-3 is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 135 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 15.1 kDa.
Human Interleukin-3 Recombinant Protein is suitable as a control for polyclonal or monoclonal anti-Human Interleukin-3 in immunological assays.
Specifications
- Protein/Peptide Type:Recombinant
- Source:E. coli
- Species:Mouse
- Storage Conditions:Store vial at 4 °C prior to restoration. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Maintain sterility. This product DOES NOT contain preservative. DO NOT VORTEX. We recommend adding a carrier protein such as HSA or BSA to 0.1% (i.e. 1.0 mg/mL). For best results aliquot contents and freeze at –20 °C or colder. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge vial before each opening to dislodge contents from the cap and to clarify if contents are not clear after standing at room temperature.
- Endotoxin Content:Measured by kinetic LAL analysis and is typically ≤ 1 EU/μg protein.
- Biological Activity:The activity is determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of mouse M-NFS-60 cells and is typically less than 0.05 ng/mL.
