SSC Buffer, 20X Concentrate, Seracare

KPL 20X SSC is a common buffer used in a variety of molecular biology applications.

• Clear, colorless solution
• Made up of molecular biology-grade 3.0 M NaCl and 0.3 M sodium citrate

The solution is filtered through a 0.2 filter into a DNase/RNase-free bottles. KPL 20X SSC can be used to facilitate transfer of nucleic acids to membranes in southern and northern blotting, dot blotting, and colony and plaque lifts.
