Contains the reagent L-pyrrolidonyl-ß-naphthylamide (PYR) which is hydrolyzed by bacteria possessing the enzyme pyrrolidonyl amino peptidase. The addition of the DrySlide™ PYR color developer results in a vivid color reaction in a three minute test.
