OR-Grade Dissecting Scissors are used primarily for separating tissue or cutting specimen for study. These standard scissors should be used with tissue that is neither too delicate nor too tough, upon which tailored dissecting scissors, such as Mayo or Metzenbaum, would be more appropriate.
