Made of borosilicate glass, this Soil Suspension Cylinder has a heavy beaded finish at top, white graduation rings at 1000 mL mark, and is calibrated “to contain” (TC).

The cylinder is used to determine the amount of soil in dispersed suspensions as described in ASTM Standard Method D 422 and AASHO Method T 88.
