With this innovative closure system, Clicktainer™ Vials are ideally suited for the collection and transport of fluids, solids, and powders. They are perfect for a wide range of customer applications, from the collection of valuable and often hazardous patient samples such as urine, feces, and sputum and their transportation through hospital pneumatic/vacuum transport systems, to their suitability for use with formalin or fixatives for histology applications.

Sample collection needs to be easy. Sample transport needs to be secure. The Samco™ Clicktainer™ Vials have a wide opening and leakproof seal. The 'click' seal system indicates when the cap is properly applied so the sample is secure.

: CE marked in accordance with IVD Directicve 98/79/EC. Each batch pressure tested to 95kPa in accordance with BS EN 14401. Leak tested in accordance with BS EN 14254.

: Note: The term 'leakproof' applies to Thermo Scientific Samco™ Clicktainer™ products, 90 ml/53 mm and 120 ml/53 mm, that meet the following criteria: a) a vacuum test that draws 95 kPa of pressure within a sealed chamber with no leakage; b) leak testing in accordance with EN 14254, which involves filling the container with a dye, placing for 2 minutes on a roller mixer followed by one hour inverted in a water bath with no leakage. Note: these tests, using other liquids, may not yield the same results. To ensure safe usage, customers are advised to test Thermo Scientific Samco™ Clicktainer™ Vials under conditions of their planned applications. Vials are leakproof at ambient temperature and pressure when used with their Clicktainer™ closures.
