Lambda Control Slides are for the positive immunohistochemical staining of surface and hidden determinants of lambda light chain on normal and neoplastic B-cells and expressed in B-cell follicles of human lymphoid tissue. Lambda is an important marker to determine monoclonality of B lymphocyte neoplasms.
- Tissue: Positive staining tonsil
- Fixation: Formalin 10%, phosphate buffered
- Section: Cut at 4 µm
- Glass: Superfrost™ Plus
- Drying method: Air dried
- Tissue placement: Mid-high on slide
- Quality control stain: Lambda quality control stained slide(s) included
Staining results: Lambda positive expression will stain brown cytoplasmic staining. Nuclei will stain blue.
In human tissue unless otherwise indicated.
These positive control slides are intended to be used to verify histological techniques and reagent reactivity. Reactivity of IHC control slides is guaranteed for one year from the date of receipt and should be revalidated after one year to verify continued reactivity.
: All controls are cut in serial sections. 10 set includes 10 unstained slides and 1 stained slide. 98 set includes 98 unstained slides and 2 stained slides (first and last slides are stained).
