Uniquely designed and lubricant free, these precision stirrer/stirring bearings are self-aligning

Complete 10 mm diameter assembly includes PTFE stirrer bearing, PTFE bushing, saddle O-ring (LG-9470-300), threaded heavy wall borosilicate glass adapter, and top cap (LG-10818-114).

The saddle O-ring provides constant force and a positive seal on the stirring rod that allows vacuum operation to as low as 1 mm. Ground finish rods from other manufacturers are not recommended for use with this bearing.
