The ICP standard is manufactured and verified under Ultra’s ISO 9001 registered quality system. It is prepared from starting materials having a purity of 99.999% (where possible), high purity acids, and ASTM Type I water (18 megaohm).

It is traceable to NIST standard reference materials (SRM) whenever possible.

ULTRAgrade® documentation data includes elemental identity, trace metal impurities, and final element concentration by ICP; traceability data to NIST SRM by both wet chemical assay and ICP on final solution lot; and final solution density.
