Lifeline® HUVEC are isolated from human umbilical cords, and cryopreserved as primary or secondary cells to ensure the highest viability and plating efficiency.
HUVEC can be grown in low serum (2%) medium without phenol red or antimicrobials when cultured in Lifeline® VascuLife® medium.
: HUVEC are available as Primary cells, or in 10-donor pools of Secondary cells. Lifeline® HUVEC are 500,000 cells per vial.
