Cell transmigration involves the migration of cells across the endothelium

CytoSelect™ Transmigration Assays measure the interactions with, and transmigration of, the endothelium by leukocytes or tumor cells. The assays use a Boyden Chamber in which endothelial cells may be seeded to form a monolayer prior to adding the migratory cells of interest. Migratory cells move through the endothelial layer and are counted using the fluorescent dye provided in each kit.
