About this item

Sklar's® Beeson Plaster Spreader is used to aid in the removal of plaster casts. It has a solid straight handle and two large, flat, rectangular blades with horizontal serrations on the outside of the blade.

  • Once a cut is made in the plaster cast, the blades of the spreader are closed by opening the handle and are inserted to a section of the cast

By squeezing the handle, the blades spread open, there by spreading apart sections of the cast. After multiple sections of the cast are spread open, the cast may be removed.
