Sklar's® Bakes Dilators are a single-ended instrument with a solid, bullet-shaped tip used to dilate and enlarge a duct.
The Bakes Dilator is most commonly used to open the bile duct to allow bile to pass to the liver. The shaft of this instrument is thin, round, and maleable to improve movement within the duct. It has a standard, overall length of 83/4 to 9" with variable tip sizes.
