The Thermo Scientific Pierce Luciferase Cell Lysis Buffer effectively lyses adherent cells or pelleted suspension cells for analysis of promoter expression in luciferase assays.

Pierce Luciferase Cell Lysis Buffer has been tested and validated to produce luciferase assay-compatible lysates from a variety of cell types. Essentially complete lysis of adherent cells has been observed with nearly all of the cell types tested to date, including COS-7, NIH3T3, Hepa 1-6, 293, CHO, MDA, MB 231, Jurkat, and FM2 cells.
