About this item

Sklar Black™ Adson Dressing Forceps are thumb forceps used for holding dressing materials such as cotton and gauze during surgical procedures, changing dressings, or packing wounds.

They have a wide thumb grasp for increased precision and control. Sklar Black™ Laser instruments feature a non-reflective black polymer coating applied over the sandblasted instrument developed for laser surgeries.

This safe, durable coating reduces laser reflection to less than one-tenth of a percent, ensuring a safer surgical environment for patients and surgical staff.

Certifications: Sklar Black™ coated instruments comply with biological testing requirements for cytotoxicity, sensitization regulatory, and ISO 10993 requirements. They also comply with the Pre-Vacuum and Gravity Cycle Steam Sterilization Validation of ANSI/AAMI ST79. Sklar Black™ laser coatings are guaranteed for one year against manufacturing defects.
