About this item
Criterion™ Tris-Tricine Precast Protein Gels are designed for separation of peptides and small proteins with molecular weights <10,000 Da
- Optimal resolution of small proteins and peptides
- Numbered, marked well outlines on the cassette for easy sample loading and identification
- Consistent, accurate molecular weight estimation
- Fast setup, loading, and run times
- Run 2-D gels in less than a day
High-resolution separations are achieved by slowing the migration rate of the peptide-SDS complexes, permitting separation from faster-moving SDS micelles, which interfere with peptide resolution in Tris/glycine buffer systems.
