The HemaPRO™ Automated Hematology Stain Instrument represents a significant advancement in automated slide staining. It is a valuable addition to any laboratory, whether it is the primary stainer used by small hospitals, physician's labs, stat labs, or used as a stat/backup instrument in larger labs. The unit can also be used in veterinary labs for a variety of biological specimens.

  • State of the art microprocessor increases speed and ease of use
  • Operator prompted LCD display
  • Soft touch, color-coded keys
  • Adjustable stain and buffer timing (important for consistent lab results with multiple users)
  • Adjustable fill level
  • ""Cycles Remaining"" display monitors reagent and prompts when to reorder
  • Injection molded case with built-in reagent platform
  • Stainless steel reagent cannulas are oxidation resistant and increase system durability
  • Color-coded reagent tubing for ease of operation

The HemaPRO™ can stain a blood smear in as little as 60 seconds

In addition to the soft agitation before the rinse is drained, the HemaPRO™ has an added soft agitation feature that occurs before the buffer is drained. This added feature creates a cleaner slide with the same great staining characteristics of a modified Wright Giemsa stain formula. The unit needs no daily maintenance and only requires a tubing change once or twice annually.

The HemaPRO™ is one of the smallest automated slide stainers available, and requires only one square foot of counterspace (the HemaPRO™ reagent system is included in the one square foot).

In addition to the rapid staining, the HemaPRO™ minimizes cross contamination seen in the dip method, and yields consistent results no matter who stains the slide.

: A tubing change for the HemaPRO™ is recommended at least once annually. The Replacement Tubing Kit includes labeled tubing, four orange pump tubes, reagent cannulas, check valves, tubing elbows, and the wire ties to secure the tubing to the unit. Tubing can be installed in just a few minutes.

The Reagent Kit for HemaPRO™ is a Wrights-Giemsa stain, with an extended shelf life of one year unopened. This self-contained, specially formulated pack includes 125 tests, with color-coded tubing for ease of operation.

Stain Kit sold separately and is required for use.
