The HemaPRO™ can stain a blood smear in as little as 60 seconds
In addition to the soft agitation before the rinse is drained, the HemaPRO™ has an added soft agitation feature that occurs before the buffer is drained. This added feature creates a cleaner slide with the same great staining characteristics of a modified Wright Giemsa stain formula. The unit needs no daily maintenance and only requires a tubing change once or twice annually.
The HemaPRO™ is one of the smallest automated slide stainers available, and requires only one square foot of counterspace (the HemaPRO™ reagent system is included in the one square foot).
In addition to the rapid staining, the HemaPRO™ minimizes cross contamination seen in the dip method, and yields consistent results no matter who stains the slide.
The Reagent Kit for HemaPRO™ is a Wrights-Giemsa stain, with an extended shelf life of one year unopened. This self-contained, specially formulated pack includes 125 tests, with color-coded tubing for ease of operation.
Stain Kit sold separately and is required for use.
