The UV crosslinker is designed for crosslinking of DNA/RNA to cellulose membrane lattice when conducting Northern and Southern Blot experiments.

It has an adjustable height feature and includes five 254 nm shortwave bulbs.

The adjustable height feature provides a more accurate reading by keeping the samples on the floor of the chamber, at the same distance from the bulbs as the UV sensor. There is no need to raise up the samples to bulbs, simply adjust the bulbs.
