Solvent Extractors According to Randall, VELP Scientifica
The SER 148/3 and SER 148/6 can be used to separate a substance or a group of elements (e.g. fat) from solid and semi-solid samples according to the Randall technique (consisting of immersion, washing and solvent recovery). The main field of application is the determination of the content of soluble products such as fats, detergents, plasticizers and pesticides in food, animal feeds, detergents, rubber and plastic formulas, pharmaceutical products, soil, etc.
- Automated process with control of temperature and time of process phases
- Up to 5× faster than Soxhlet extraction, as the method uses hot/boiling solvents for extraction
- Low solvent consumption
- Full operator safety in compliance with IP55
: Unit supplied with extractions cups (3/6), 25×extraction thimbles 33 × 80 mm, extractions thimbles holders (3/6), inlet tube, heat shield, butyl and viton seals (3/6).
