Reactor body is fabricated of borosilicate glass with #25 Ace-Thred at top, standard taper 14/10 outer side joint externally threaded to allow an O-Ring cap seal connection with mating inner joint, and porosity E (4-8micron) filter disc at bottom for use as a gas inlet to remove oxygen from the solution and/or for agitation (mixing)

Bottom hose connection is size E. Immersion well is either quartz or borosilicate, 11 mm I.D., with water jacket. Well can also be used to flow filter solutions in front of lamp to attain desired wavelengths. Well is assembled by insertion into #25 Ace-Thred and securing with an O‑Ring compression seal. This type connection allows volume adjusting by raising or lowering well inside reactor, volume range 5-15 mL.
