Transfer Membranes

Transfer Membranes

Highly sensitive transfer membranes use capillary action methods to separate DNA, RNA, or protein fragments for detection. Working well with the gels and buffers required for transfer and immobilization steps, the transfer membranes are durable enough to be subjected to multiple stripping, reprobing, hybridization cycles. The high-binding discs, sheets, and rolls come in various pore sizes and charges to fit any blotting techniques in molecular biology and genetic research.

Nitrocellulose Membrane, 0.2 µm, Bio-Rad

Nitrocellulose Membrane, 0.2 µm, Bio-Rad

Supplier: Bio-Rad

Bio-Rad 0.2 µm pure nitrocellulose membrane is recommended for blotting nucleic acids <550 bp and low molecular weight proteins. The 0.2 µm pore size minimizes protein sample loss due to transfer through the membrane. For larger target proteins and nucleic acids, Bio-Rad 0.45 µm nitrocellulose is recommended.
