SIRT1/2 inhibitor (IC₅₀ values are 56 and 59 μM at SIRT1 and SIRT2 respectively). Class III HDAC inhibitor, with no inhibition of class I and II. Promotes G₂ cell cycle arrest. Antitumour activity in vitroand in vivo.
