Mycoplasma removal agent (MRA) is an effective solution for the problem of mycoplasma contamination in cell cultures.

• Completely kills mycoplasma with no recurrence of contamination
• Effective at low concentration

MRA is a derivative of the quinoline family of antibiotics. It eliminates mycoplasma infection (recommended use at a concentration of 0,5 μg/ml) by inhibiting mycoplasma DNA gyrase. Cell toxicity is low following treatment at the recommended concentration, as is regrowth of mycoplasma after cellular transfer.
