Amphotericin B is used for the prevention or elimination of fungal contaminants in cell culture.

  • Yellow to orange powder
  • Storage temperature of 2 to 8 °C

Interferes with fungal membrane permeability by forming channels in the membranes and causing small molecules to leak out.
