CDK substrate

This sequence, ADAQHATPPKKKRKVED, is SV40 L Tag (118-138) with Ser to Ala120 and Ala123 substitutions to increase specificity. Substrate is specific for p34cdc2 (CDK1) and is a poor substrate for CKI, II, PKA, GSK3, PKC, CaMKII, and phosphorylase b kinase. Can be used in cell lysates using TCA/phosphocellulose assay. Km=74 µM for active complex with cyclin B.
