PTFE covered samarium cobalt magnet provides strong coupling with drive magnets making it ideal for use with viscous solutions and efficient, high speed stirring. The fluted octagonal shape creates torque transmission rates to the stirred liquid which are two to three fold higher compared to similarly sized standard stirring bars.
