Centrifugal filters are used in laboratory settings to manipulate peptides, proteins, oligonucleotides, DNA, and RNA samples. Filters with nylon membrane are ideal for prefiltration clean-up of large agarose or acrylamide gel debris prior to purification with an MWCO device.
