Our investment in a modernized product information and content management system will offer better quality product data and search capabilities — changes that will lead to an overall improved customer and supplier experience.
For you, our valued suppliers, this investment will enable increased efficiency for new product onboarding and product enrichment — resulting in a faster time to market, more valuable content for our customers and accelerated growth opportunities.
- Beginning May 21, suppliers will now initiate the product onboarding process via a supplier central single-sign-on and will use a new Avantor Product Management tool to add and manage product content for using easier, better templates.
- The new tool will also provide real-time validation for faster onboarding, and provide direct data quality feedback
- Data corrections or updates are performed via new, modernized workflows with Avantor Portfolio (instead of through multiple emails) until onboarding is complete
- Likewise, product cost validation and updates are performed with Avantor Sourcing by the new tool
