Avantor® Employees and VWR Foundation Partner to Make a Difference with $6,000 donation to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

More than 200 employees participate or volunteer to support 5K Fun Run and 1-Mile walk promoting health and wellness, team building and community engagement

RADNOR, Pa., November 9,2018 – Avantor, a global manufacturer and distributor of high-quality products, services and solutionsfor the life sciences and advanced technology industries, recently hosted a 5K Fun Run and 1-Mile Walk at its Radnor, Pa., facility to promote health and wellness, teamb uilding and community engagement. More than 200employees were involved in the event to help ensure itssuccess.

To further engage Avantor employees, the VWR Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to giving back to the science community, pledged to make a donation to a local beneficiary selected by participants prior to the event. In their honor, the Foundation donated $6,000to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, to support the Hospital’s mission to deliver the highest quality, compassionate, family-centered care.
