HIGH CONSISTENCY SILICONE ELASTOMER

Description

  • Uncatalyzed, vinyl-functional, high consistency silicone elastomer
  • Requires the addition of a peroxide catalyst to accomplish vulcanization
  • Low tack surface
  • Strained through a 400-mesh screen (minimum)

Applications

  • For a wide variety of fabrication techniques for the healthcare industry including: molding, calendering and extruding of parts
  • Ideal for applications requiring a material with a low durometer, including: gaskets, seals, molded balloons, and catheter tips
NuSil Technology’s MED-4128 shall not be considered for use in human implantation for a period of greater than 29 days.
