HKER-d - Human keratinocytes from dermis - are obtained from human tissue, in particularly from the Dermis, initially isolated in their in vivo state. The cells are then transitioned into a primary cell culture and subsequently aliquoted and frozen for preservation. It's crucial to note that HKER cultures undergo careful methods during isolation, ensuring that they remain untransformed and unmutated, maintaining characteristics reflective of their in vivo state. These primary cultures have a limited in-vitro lifespan.
