BSA-Palmitate Saturated Fatty Acid Complex
Supplier: Cayman Chemical
BSA-Palmitate saturated fatty acid complex is composed of palmitic acid and bovine serum albumin (BSA) at an approximately 6:1 molar ratio of palmitate:BSA. It can be used for efficient fatty acid delivery to cells in culture for the purpose of monitoring fatty acid oxidation or similar processes in various cellular metabolic studies.

ML RR-S2 CDA (ammonium salt) ≥98%
Supplier: Cayman Chemical
ML RR-S2 CDA is a synthetic cyclic dinucleotide (CDN) that contains non-canonical 2'5'-phosphodiester bonds and is an activator of stimulator of interferon genes (STING).1 It contains mixed linkages (ML) with both 2'5' and 3'5' linkages, which leads to increased thermal stability of human STING in a differential scanning fluorimetry (DSF) assay. ML RR-S2 CDA increases type I interferon production by THP-1 human monocytes relative to unmodified cyclic di-AMP (CDA; Item No. 17753), indicating the ML enhances its action at human STING. It induces expression of IFN-β and the pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-6, and Mcp-1 in murine bone marrow macrophages (BMM) isolated from wild-type, but not STING-/-, mice. ML RR-S2 CDA also induces IFN-β expression in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) isolated from donors carrying STINGWT/WT, STINGWT/REF, and STINGWT/HAQ alleles. In vivo, ML RR-S2 CDA initiates tumor regression and prevents tumor growth upon tumor cell reimplantation in 4T1 breast and CT26 colon cancer mouse xenograft models.

Cefoperazone sodium salt ≥95%, crystalline solid
Supplier: Cayman Chemical
Cefoperazone is a cephalosporin antibiotic that is active in vitro against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including β-lactamase strains (3 – 4 µg/ml inhibits 90% of S. aureus growth). It has been studied in the treatment of upper and lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, gynecological infections, skin infections, as well as bacteremia.

Nitrocefin ≥95%
Supplier: Cayman Chemical
Nitrocefin is a chromogenic cephalosporin substrate commonly used to detect β-lactamases in bacteria. The presence of β-lactamase activity is indicated by the appearance of a red color that is proportional in intensity to the original concentration of nitrocefin.

BQCA ≥98%, crystalline
Supplier: Cayman Chemical
BQCA is a highly selective positive allosteric modulator of the M₁ muscarinic acetylcholine receptor (mAChR), as it dose-dependently reduces the concentration of acetylcholine required to activate the M₁ receptor. The effective range for potentiation of M₁ in cells by BQCA is 0,1 to 100 μM with an inflection point value of 845 nM when 3 nM acetylcholine is used.

WYE-125132 ≥98%, crystalline solid
Supplier: Cayman Chemical
WYE-125132 is an ATP-competitive inhibitor of mTOR (IC50 = 0,19 nM) that inhibits signaling through both mTORC1 and mTORC2. It is selective for mTOR over phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase isoforms. WYE-125132 is effective against mTORC1 and mTORC2 in diverse cancer models, both in vitro and in vivo. Oral administration of WYE-125132 alone blocks mTOR signaling and prevents tumor growth in breast, lung, renal, and glioma cancer xenografts in mice, while combination therapy with the VEGF-inhibitor bevacizumab causes complete regression of A498 renal carcinoma tumors. In addition to its applications in cancer, WYE-125132 has been used to delineate novel aspects of mTOR signaling.

Taurodeoxycholic acid sodium salt ≥95%
Supplier: Cayman Chemical
Taurodeoxycholic acid is a taurine-conjugated form of the secondary bile acid deoxycholic acid. Taurodeoxycholic acid stimulates chloride ion secretion through calcium-activated chloride ion channels and cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) in Calu-3 airway epithelial cell monolayers when applied basolaterally. Serum levels of taurodeoxycholic acid increase approximately 5-fold in within two hours during an oral lipid tolerance test in humans.

Lupeol ≥98%, crystals
Supplier: Cayman Chemical
Lupeol, a dietary triterpene found in certain fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants, has potent anti-inflammatory, anticarcinogenic, antimutagenic, and antimalarial activity. It suppresses the growth of hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines SMMC7721 and HepG2 with IC50 values of 45 and 48.5 μM and melanoma cell lines Mel 928 and Mel 1241 with IC50 values of 75 and 72 μM.¹'² At 0.76 g/kg lupeol causes a significant decrease in the blood pressure of stroke-prone hypertensive rats and reduces expression of hepatic genes involved in triglyceride and cholesterol synthesis.³ It also has significant anti-inflammatory effects at 50 mg/kg in a carrageenan-induced edema model, inhibiting neutrophil migration.⁴
