This IV catheter exists in three types: Straight (EFTE), wings (FEP), and wings and injection port (FEP).

• Catheter tip is perfectly tapered to ensure a smooth transition from needle to catheter
• Because the material is stronger than other materials, there is less likeliness of split tips and peelback
• For almost each gauge an obturator is available with the same colour as the catheter
• Obturator prevents thrombus formation in the lumen of the catheter when the infusion is discontinued
