Digest native collagen fibrils in connective tissues with Collagenase Type V, sourced from Clostridium histolyticum. Collagenase preparations typically contain the activity of several proteases, including collagenase, caseinase, clostripain, and trypsin (Kessler and Yaron). This Collagenase Type V preparation contains high levels of collagenase and caseinase activities.
